OLD FASHIONED

Ingredients:
  1. 2 oz Select Club Reserve 91 Whisky
  2. 1 bar spoon simple syrup
  3. 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  4. Orange peel for garnish
    5. Maraschino cherry for garnish
Method:
  1. Add all ingredients except garnish to a glass with ice.
  2. Gently stir.
    3. Garnish with the orange peel and cherry.
200 years old and still relevant. You can’t say that about too many things, can you? Well, that’s just what makes the old-fashioned whisky cocktail, or old-fashioned for short, so special. Its simple whisky flavor, accompanied by sweetness from the simple syrup and a kick from the Angostura bitters, make it clear why this cocktail isn’t going away anytime soon.
