IRISH COFFEE

For those of us looking to replace the basic morning cup of coffee, this Irish coffee cocktail is the perfect successor. Made with fresh coffee, whisky, sugar, and whipped cream, this drink will satisfy your sweet tooth and give you your daily dose of whisky and caffeine.
Ingredients:
  1. 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee 
  2. 1½ oz Select Club Reserve 91 Whisky
  3. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  4. Lightly sweetened homemade whipped cream
  5. Coffee grounds for garnish

Method:
  1. Add the brown sugar to a warm glass or mug.
  2. Pour in the hot coffee and stir to help the sugar dissolve.
  3. Taste for sweetness. Add more sugar or coffee until it tastes just right.
  4. Add in the whisky and stir.
  5. Top with a layer of whipped cream, pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  6. Garnish by sprinkling coffee grounds over the top.
