BOBBY BURNS

This Scottish cocktail named after the poet Robert Burns, is basically a variation on the classic Manhattan. It is most popularly drunk on January 25th, the poet’s birthday, also known as Burns Night in Scotland. Burns Night is a festive celebration full of poetry, traditional Scottish music, haggis, and of course the Bobby Burns cocktail. So, no matter where in the world you are, you can pour yourself a glass, make a toast, and be a part of the festivities.
Ingredients:
  1. 1 oz Select Club Reserve 91 Whisky
  2. 1 oz Sweet vermouth
  3. ½ oz Benedictine
  4. Orange peel for garnish

Method:
  1. Add all ingredients except the garnish to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir until cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled glass.
  4. Garnish with the orange peel.
